CLEVER

  • Clothes: what kind of clothes do you like to wear? Usually they prefer to wear baggy clothes to hide their thin frame
  • Laxatives: do you take any medications to lose weight such as laxatives?
  • Eating Less: have you been eating less than you used to? 24hr dietary recall
  • Vomiting: do you sometimes make yourself sick intentionally after a meal?
  • Exercise Excessively: how often do you exercise?
  • Role Models: who are your role models? Could be a classmate or a public figure but usually someone they see as slim.

Sick: induced vomiting
Control: do u worry uve lost control over how much you eat?
One Stone: lost more than one stone in the last 3/12?
Fat: Do u see yourself as fat when others say otherwise?
Food: would you say food dominates ur life?

-Few questions about weight loss and mums concern

  • Differentials

    1. hyperthyroidism: ask for heat intolerance
    2. Anorexia ask for clever
  • complications like weakness, dizziness, light headedness, palpitations

  • PMAFTOSA including menstrual history
    -FAMISH…just family/friends, mood, suicide
