Hi, I am looking for London based Plab Academies. Does anyone have experience with target plab? I have not seen many people use it

Also Common station vs Target Academy

Both are horrible options, if you have too much money and interested in giving multiple PLAB 2 attempts then go for it!

Is it because you’re resident in London? Are you married? Any children?

Yes, I have family there so It will be easier for me to attend in London.

I can’t say the best but definitely better than in London, plus your exam is in Manchester, so that’s convenient.

We recommend what majority people have tried, tested and voted. It seems to be Mo Sobhy or Samson.

I recently passed my exam. I attended CommonStations and it was a complete and utter waste of my time and money. Anything they teach there, you can learn better from youtube and other free resources. Please do not go with CS, I too chose them for location and had to study from scratch because their materials, structures and methods are completely out of touch with the Plab 2 of today. Anything they teach there, you can learn better from youtube and other free resources.

Hey. Why was your experience bad with CS academy? As I also took CS academy and really liked their approach so far.
Also I am blindly following them their approach structure and notes also. Only following CS notes
Am I doing wrong? Should I switch?
Exam on 22nd March.

The key to the exam is knowledge and practice - I feel candidates spend a lot of time practicing but not enough time gather the right information and resources.

Seeing as you have a month, I would recommend sticking to the CS notes and structures. It may be more than enough to pass, as many students do stick this and pass. However, management is very poor in their notes so please use NICE CKS guidelines in conjuction with the notes you already have. Also make sure you read up on the new cases (recalls) that the GMC has been testing, as these will not be in the CS notes and you will have at least 3-4 of the newer cases on the exam.

Hi,

Please can you tell me, how are the quality of the mannequins? Do students have access to the SIMMAN and can they use it to practise whenever they like? How are the teaching staff? Are there teachers who you can approach if you have questions?

Please do let me know as I am looking into joining their course

don’t switch. people will always have differing opinions. I went to cs and I passed 16 stations. I like their approach. the academy doesn’t make you- work on yourself
